Panacea
A zine for students navigating college in a changing world.

Panacea is a zine co-designed and co-written with Heather Ford for the Bradley University community during the Fall 2021 semester. Created in response to the pandemic college experience, it offers students tools for self-care, belonging, and navigating an uncertain academic environment. The zine format was deliberate — low-barrier, physical, and designed to be passed along.
Panacea was designed and written in Fall 2021 in collaboration with Heather Ford, UI/UX Instructor in the Interactive Media Department at Bradley University. Created for students, faculty, staff, and administration, it addresses the trials of the pandemic college experience directly — offering practical tools, self-care prompts, affirmations, and campus resources alongside writing about patience, belonging, and what it means to show up for yourself and others. The zine format was intentional: low-barrier, physical, reproducible, and designed to be passed along. The visual language — collage, found imagery, bold typography on high-contrast grounds — reflects the DIY traditions the zine form comes from.
